Culltural Entry 1

On Wednesday night, I dined with Chelsea and Nikita at the Aladdin Cafe, a local Lebanese restaurant. Offering authentic ethnic food, the Aladdin comes recommended for prompt and attentive service, reasonable prices and delicious food.

We started with a hummus plate that was both tasty and generous and followed up with individual orders. I had the lamb shawarma which despite being very sloppy, tasted great. Eating with my hands, I managed to make quite a mess but it was worth it. The waiter (and owner) referred to it as a "man's meal". I'm not entirely sure what he meant by that remark but I didn't complain as the meal spoke for itself in terms of taste and satisfaction.

By the time we had finished, we all agreed that the delightful service, delicious food and semi-authentic atmosphere made for a great dining experience and one that I would recommend to anyone interested in trying a new type of meal.
